VMF (AW) 235. The Death Angels. A Marine air ground team that upheld the finest traditions of the United States Marine Corps through thick and thin. Most of us were together for 4 years and weathered such hot spots as The Bay of Pigs and Missile Crisis in Cuba and showed "interest" in Haiti during one of their rebellions.

I have been many places, seen many things both good and bad. I can say there is no place like home, this country. No other country comes close. This is not to say there are not good things in other countries. Much of my life, the ways I do things, the conclusions I have drawn come from what I have seen, lived, and experienced. Yet, I know there is more out there for me to absorb and alter some of my conclusions. I am very anti politician yet very political. I feel a vested interest in our country and the way it is run. I am opinionated yet my ears are open for a different view or thought. The old adage, "Two heads are better than one" applies. four eyes to see more. Four ears to hear more. Two brains to absorb more. Debate to make things clearer. We only live one life. Make the best of it. I still ask questions when I am not sure and do not know. Questions are never dumb or belittling except to the heckler who makes fun of them...

I traveled extensively then and now. Always learning more about this great country and world we live in. There is always something to learn no matter how many times you visit a place. The people, their thoughts, their ways.
